Full-Stack Software Engineer

We are looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer who will work with freedom and responsibility, on tools related to social media data analysis and vetting, on which our company’s services rely. Our ideal team member will have the proper web engineering expertise and good judgment of design patterns. We will rely on you to ask questions, connect the dots and uncover new exciting paths that will lead to business solutions. You will be part of a team of Software, Data and AI Engineers, and your key responsibilities will revolve around full-stack web development.

Your responsibilities:

  • Maintain the backend needed for our data platform, according to incoming requirements.
  • Maintain and create new functionality on the frontend, focused on user experience.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to deliver business and technical requirements.
  • Follow best practices and shape new practices into emerging technologies/industry trends.

Skills & Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience as a Web Software Engineer with RESTful APIS.
  • At least 2 years in Backend development using Node.js.
  • At least 2 years of front-end experience with any JavaScript framework (We use Angular).
  • Good knowledge of  Linux. 
  • Familiarity with containerized applications.
  • Be mentally with the best practices in software engineering.

Desired

Any of the following will be considered an advantage:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
  • Experience with code refactoring.
  • Experience with complex systems of multiple services.
  • Experience with any other software languages, especially Python.
  • Knowledge of  ElasticSearch. 
  • Familiarity with cloud services. 
  • Familiarity with recent developments in AI.
